Prof. Jacopo Bertolotti will be giving an invited talk at ICMAB about Imaging Through Scattering Media!

Hosted by myself and prof. Agustín Mihi, Prof. Bertolotti will be explaining how random light scattering can be exploited to perform non-invasive imaging through strongly scattering media.

Prof. Jacopo Bertolotti is an Associated Professor in Physics at the University of Exeter (UK). He got his degree in Physics and PhD from the University of Florence (IT) in 2004 and 2008 respectively, working in the group of Prof D. Wiersma. He then worked with Prof A. Mosk at the University of Twente (NL) and Prof S. Gigan at the Institut Langevin (FR) before moving to the University of Exeter in 2013, where he established his research group, working on light scattering and imaging in turbid media.

Prof Bertolotti was awarded the Philip Leverhulme Prize in Physics in 2015 and the Institute of Physics Moseley medal in 2016 for his work on imaging through scattering media.
